George Takei ("Star Trek") and Bill Mumy ("Lost in Space").

"When a plane carrying a pair of top secret military robots crashes on a deserted Pacific island, a team of Navy seals must find them and turn them off as soon as possible for the longer they are activated, the smarter they become."

Dr. Virgil Finley (Mike) desperately attempts to shut down the rogue machines.  His repeated efforts to access their corrupted data matrix fail, eventually leaving him face to face with one of the two-story aggressors and a gruesome demise.
