Mike shot the role of Dillard, an engineering crewman working for Trip (Connor Trinneer) in episode five of Enterprise: "Unexpected".

This was the first Enterprise episode with a fair amount of comedy as Trip, now secretly "pregnant" with an alien baby, has grown unexplainably concerned about the safety of the Enterprise for "a small alien or a child".

Much to the surprise and confusion of Crewman Dillard (Mike), Trip, now suffering from morning sickness, a ravenous appetite, and severe mood swings, berates him for what he considers obvious "death traps" within engineering.

Mike had been previously called in to producers (including director LeVar Burton) for Enterprise.
